A native of Trenton, Georgia, Dr. Riley Dyer completed his undergraduate education at Samford University, achieving a B.S. in Biochemistry and graduating Magna Cum Laude all while juggling the responsibilities of being a member of the varsity football team.
He then attended the University of Alabama School of Dentistry, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Following dental school, Dr. Dyer completed his specialty training at Jacksonville University School of Orthodontics where he was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi national honor society and ranked top in his class.
Dr. Dyer is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics as well as the American Dental Association.
In his free time, he enjoys exercising and staying active with any and every sport he comes across. He also enjoys being involved with his church and spending time with his wife Allie and their dog Brady.
Dr. John R. Phillips III is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He has practiced orthodontics in the Birmingham area since 1988.
Dr. Phillips attended the University of Alabama, where he graduated with honors and was elected into Phi Beta Kappa, the nation’s oldest academic society. He obtained his doctorate degree in dentistry from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor fraternity. Dr. Phillips completed his specialty training in orthodontics at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans.
He maintains professional memberships with the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, Alabama Dental Association and the Birmingham District Dental Society.
Away from the office, Dr. Phillips is an avid musician. He plays guitar and trumpet for various groups. He also enjoys restoring antique cars, hunting and tennis. He and his wife, Kate have two children, Robert and Madeline.
